As part of the Business Intelligence & Advanced Analysts (BIAA) division of ITG, this position is responsible for supporting the University Medical Group (UMG) as well as the Clinical Transplant program. The person in this position will interact directly with key business staff to understand key initiatives and how data can be used as strategic asset in support of the business. This position will work closely with UMG and Transplant leadership, IT staff and project managers and will develop, validate, test and maintain data and report documentation, contribute to security architecture design, report scheduling, universe development, and implementation support. Will provide consulting and technical expertise to assist business users with leveraging the developed solutions. This position will need to perform scoping and estimating on Data Warehouse activities as well as present technical information and design proposals in easily understood terms in both verbal and written form. Leveraging SAP Business Objects, Microsoft SQL Server, Tableau, and Epic Systems Business Intelligence tools, this position is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining BI and Data Warehouse solutions. These solutions will utilize data available in Epic Cogito (Clarity, Caboodle Data Warehouse, Reporting Workbench/Radar, SlicerDicer), Epic Resolute HB and PB billing, Epic Ambulatory, and other third party systems. Solution development will follow the OHSU software development methodology and adhere to data governance, data security, change management, and report standards. This will include availability for rotation through an after-hours on-call support model as needed for upgrades, project go lives or to provide ongoing support of new systems that may have 24x7 support agreements. This position will require a broad knowledge of OHSU BI systems and workflows.
