The HRIS Analyst will serve as an additional HR expert for the HR module of AU’s ERP system (Ellucian Colleague) and work closely with the Office of Information Technology on UAT and corrections or enhancements to custom Colleague applications such as the e-action system, the Faculty Status System and the 403(b) Management system. The HRIS Analyst handles routine data requests from HR staff as well as external departments, including the Affirmative Action report and IPEDS data using Excel and Informer. This position supports the development of new business intelligence reports using Microstrategy. This position requires self-direction and minimal degree of supervision.

This position works collaboratively with all the HR functional teams, payroll and IT
This position works on systems that manage the HRIS and Payroll system of the university (Colleague), the internal university portal, and custom applications etc

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
This position requires 5 years of related work experience
The incumbent must demonstrate an aptitude for database structure and develop expertise in the Ellucian Colleague HR module file structure and functionality, understanding core HR processes for hiring, paying and terminating employees
The incumbent must be customer focused; communicate well; be detail oriented; work well in a team environment; collaborate with all levels within the university; be a problem solver and analytical thinker as well as demonstrate flexibility and initiative
