The Director will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of complex assignments throughout Asia-Pacific, identifying new clients and business opportunities through research, marketing and regional expertise.
The jobholder will develop and maintain effective relationships between different business practices and offices including support of others requiring assistance or benefiting from the information access or capabilities of this position. Given the regional scope, some overseas travel may be required.
The Senior Consultant will collect and analyze information from research of public-domain sources to support on-going investigative, business intelligence and consulting assignments, evaluating information and information sources for accuracy, reliability and relevance in assessing risk.
The incumbent will need be required to create research reports in English, presentations and where needed link charts or similar diagrams to investigative actions and findings.
There will be additional responsibility for proposal drafting and client liaison during assignments as well as the proactive identification of new sources of information, research tools and approaches as well as managing of these resources to achieve high quality and cost effectiveness.
Requirements for Director level
At least 4 years investigative experience with focus on enhanced due diligence, research and investigations work
Broad professional experience, including prior international work experience/travel or experience working as part of a global dispersed team is preferred
Keen interest in fraud, investigations, business intelligence and due diligence
Strong leadership with a minimum of 2 years' in a supervisory position
Professional qualifications and postgraduate education are desired but not essential
Requirements for Senior Consultant
Keen interest in investigations, research, business intelligence and due diligence work with a minimum of 4 years' experience in conducting similar research and investigative work
Broad professional experience and excellent English analytics and report writing skills are essential. Fluent Chinese reading skills are also a must
Strong Microsoft Office skills with practical experience in online information retrieval and knowledge of data mining tools e.g. i2 analyst's notebook an advantage
