This position provides IT development and support services for Oracle eBusiness Suite and other applications to various Aviation Authority business units. Responsible for: analysis of processes, development of process automation concepts and options, assessment of associated costs and benefits, preparation of automated systems and components acquisition documents or design and test documents, selected software development, assist in user training and sustaining support in the Authority’s financial software and/or other business environments. These processes support multiple disciplines including: planning, engineering, operations, and properties, and address both business and technical data.
Bachelor degree in Information Technology or a related field and five (5) years directly related practical experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Requires specialization in systems analysis, design, development, testing and system integrations in a medium to large corporate enterprise environment.
Should have proven experience in the following: DF Diagrams, ER Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Data Modeling, Process Modeling, programming in a multi-tier environment, OO Analysis and Design.
Must have proven experience with several of the following programming languages and tools: Oracle Forms and Reports, Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle Application Development Framework, .NET, MS T-Server, Oracle PL/SQL, Java, XML, BEPL, and workflow development tools.
Must also have proven past experience in the implementation of and post-implementation support of at least one of the following programs: an ERP system such as Oracle eBusiness Suite (preferred), Oracle SOA Suite or comparable middleware and enterprise service bus, or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
Experience developing and supporting large multi-tier applications and interfaces with various RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Access) on Windows or LINUX environments with a technical understanding of file system structure.
Experience is desired with various reporting and data analysis tools such as; Discoverer, SplashBI, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Oracle BAM, APEX, IBM Cognos, MS PowerBI, etc.
Must have a solid understanding of system design and workflow analysis.
Must have solid technical skill base and experience using common software and scripting tools, with focus on Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL.
Must be able to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously, be a self-starter, take initiative, attention to detail, have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience using one or more leading analysis and development methodologies.
