The Business Intelligence Analyst in Institutional Research is responsible for developing data models, dashboards, and reports to support effective data distribution at the University. This position works extensively with University data as it exists in data warehouses and governed data repositories, including enrollment, completion, and faculty data in the Academic Data Warehouse and financial and human resource data in the Business Data Warehouse. This position will develop reports and dashboards to enable self-service access to key indicators required to monitor progress against University goals. This position may also provide predictive modeling expertise in areas of strategic information.
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred with three to five years of related experience.
Experience in the field of institutional research or other higher education areas preferred.
BI Tools: Experience as a report developer in tools such as Microstrategy, PowerBI, BeX, and/or Tableau.
Communication: Ability to communicate and facilitate the communication between technical and business staff.
Database Experience: Strong understanding of database concepts including SQL. Experience with data warehouse concepts and technology.
