Manage departmental initiatives related to the identification and examination of market trends affecting student housing to inform the housing rate structure and in line with institutional occupancy and revenue goals. In conjunction with the ORLHS systems staff, maintain the data input avenues and create streamlined processes for data collection and auditing. Develop cohesive procedures for maintaining accurate data and scalable data collection practices. Reconcile housing revenue information in coordination with relevant interdepartmental stakeholders and other university units. Create data sharing opportunities with leadership and other stakeholders using web-based tools and university systems. Analyze and evaluate current business practices using industry standards and best practices to improve service and operational efficiencies. Develop training and resource solutions to address staff understanding of assignment and occupancy related issues. Participate in the review and response of policy appeals.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems, accounting, business, or related area.
Required Experience: 3 years' related experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience with statistical analysis or market and trend analysis. Experience using business intelligence tools (Tableau or equivalent).
Preferred Experience: Experience working in a university and/or complex work environment. Experience working in a University housing setting. Experience working with University housing occupancy software (e.g., StarRez).
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to analyze data and make recommendations. Knowledge of server and web-related programming languages (e.g., SQL, Visual Basic, HTML, CSS).
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Proficiency in database management.
