Job Purpose: Lead the growth of the ChemImage Life Sciences business portfolio through a broadening and deepening of prospect and customer relationships that drive sales. Develop ambitious revenue targets in collaboration with company management and ultimately lead efforts to achieving those targets through productive relationships with strategic partners and key accounts.
Principal (Essential) Duties:
Develop and achieve annual revenue targets in identified markets and product sectors.
Develop business growth plan and identify strategic growth paths.
Establish clinical/commercial/government contacts and relationships to grow revenue in the Life Sciences line of business.
Interact professionally with high level executives in various companies and government agencies.
Utilize CRM tools to manage and update revenue forecasts and opportunities.
Learn and be able to properly demo Life Sciences products and services.
Prepare and maintain accurate forecasting reports.
Assist in the coordination of business meetings and sales meetings as requested.
Manage and nurture strategic relationships with customers, distributors and partners.
Function independently on regular duties. Complete assignments with minimal direction and guidance from management.
Manage the preparation, approval and execution of the Capture Plan and Capture Schedule and regularly report on the pursuit status.
Lead, motivate and energize internal and external team members to produce a winning capture effort.
Identify areas of need and build the capture team as necessary to win assigned bids.
Work collaboratively with multiple internal and external groups (i.e. Sector Operations, HR, Contracts Finance, Business Intelligence, Proposal Management)
needed to produce a winning effort.
Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, new business, sales, and other matters related to new revenue generation.
Present Life Sciences clinical/technical results at National & International Clinical/Technical Conferences.
Attend and perform training as required.
Responsible for operating within the budget structure as set forth for sales representatives. You will be supplied with a laptop computer, network connection and access to ChemImage's CRM Account.

Proven track record of successful selling of technical solutions and services within the Life Sciences and Healthcare Industry.
Successful track record of exceeding quota.
Proven scientific aptitude with the ability to communicate knowledge effectively to others.
Ability to develop and deliver persuasive presentations. Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Excellent computer skills including Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite to prepare sales-related materials.
A combination of a solid background/education in business and science with an aptitude to quickly understand new science and
Bachelor degree in life science highly preferred, advanced degree (MSc, MD, PhD) a strong advantage
MBA from a top tier program preferred
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Life Science industry, prior experience in the Medical Device Sector preferred
At least 3 years of experience in business development or licensing with a track record of leading negotiations for a variety of
Experience with CRM tools strongly desired
Working Conditions/ Physical Demands:
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Perform sedentary work - exerting up to fifty pounds of force occasionally. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Operate standard office equipment including a computer, copier, fax, phone and other similar office equipment.
Work setting is primarily office based but conditions may involve limited exposure to chemicals, emitted radiation, fumes, dust, odors, gases and other substances when in a laboratory environment.
