Overseeing the operation of the University's information applications and services for administrative systems. Develop and manage the application portfolio. Directs application, database, data warehousing and business intelligence activities of the University. Works with other department personnel to identify, recommend, integrate and support costeffective administrative application solutions for the University.
Develop and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining ERP system and companion software; serves as resource person for all ERP modules; provides leadership on cross-module process improvements; ensures ERP software meets business requirements and goals, fulfills user requirements and identifies and leads resolutions of system issues; coordinates evaluation, integration, and deployment of ERP applications, systems software, and associated companion products.
Collaborate with user community in testing new ERP processes and companion applications; develops and maintains a test plan; works with user community to create long-term strategic goals for achieving and maintaining high data quality and to devise, coordinate, and conduct data-cleansing initiatives to purge and eliminate corrupt or redundant information from ERP database.
Manage evaluation, installation, integration, testing, configuration, and deployment of new enterprise applications, system software, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications; applies established metrics to determine readiness, quality, and operability of software, systems, and applications due for release to user community within the University.
May re-engineer applications support to ensure it aligns with business processes, tactical planning and strategic vision; ensures any new software integration into University systems meet functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
