Role MIS is undertaking a Transformation Program to expand the capability and effectiveness of its relationship management team to better serve its customers and maximize revenues. Reporting to the Manager - Commercial Operations, the associate in this role will be responsible for providing Salesforce related support and preparing management reports. This individual will also play a key role in ensuring data quality and integrity within Salesforce.
Purpose of role:
Provide support to Global Head of Commercial Group to improve sales performance through better reporting, metrics and controls.
Support the global Commercial Group by providing user support.
Assist with Salesforce configuration alongside MIT
Responsible for managing global/regional reporting framework
Manage sales data by performing integration data reconciliation, establishing control checks and routinely performing data quality reviews
Support Commercial Group on ad hoc projects and research Measured on: Successful implementation of specific initiatives and increase in operational effectiveness
Key Responsibilities: Managerial Responsibilities
Oversee the activities performed by new joiners to Commercial Operations Support.
Train, coach and mentor individuals at the Associate Commercial Operations Support level.
Ensuring optimum and efficient team utilization Sales Support
Provide process and technology support to Salesforce (SFDC) users globally
Complete configuration enhancements to Salesforce.
Work on marketing, meeting and seminar management through use of outreach automation tools, i.e. Marketo
Manage the end-to-end process for select portfolio services, including recommendation for automation of process.
Perform data entry in Salesforce to assist Relationship Management users.
Configure and maintain the Document repository on Share Point.
Contribute to and/or draft training guides and other documents. Measurement of Results: Reporting, Analytics & Sales Data
Prepare and update reports & dashboards as required using Salesforce and Business Intelligence tool i.e. Birst.
Perform routine data analysis and present meaningful insights and findings
Develop and prepare metric reporting within the Sales technology ecosystem Data Integrity
Execute and develop audit checks and data reconciliation to ensure data integrity
Perform data clean up on sales and contact data, eliminate/merge duplicate entries, etc. Participate in ad hoc projects
Analyze and complete ad hoc requests
Research internal and external sources to provide data to relationship management team
Assist in implementation of specific initiatives (special/ad-hoc projects) to increase operational effectiveness
Qualifications Required
For 4 - 6 years of relevant work experience providing user and administrative support to a globally dispersed customer base. Experience of 4 years in Salesforce Administration and Marketing Automation, Business Intelligence
Strong academic background in Information Technology. Bachelor's degree required, Masters in Management Information Systems a plus.
Strong knowledge of Sales CRM (preferably Salesforce) or Business Intelligence systems (e.g., Birst, Tableau or Business Objects)
Experience in SQL with a common RDBMS like SQL Server, Oracle would be a plus
Experience with Salesforce reporting.
Experience using contract and campaign management software to create, send and track email campaigns and contracts
Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills. Use of Macros in excel would be an advantage
Working understanding of MS Visio and MS Project will be a plus
Knowledge of the financial markets
Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks
Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
Sound judgment-capable of developing independent opinion and defending own views
Credible with Senior Management - ability to communicate at the highest levels of the corporate hierarchy
