The Jindal School of Management seeks to fill a Senior Lecturer non-tenure-track faculty position in the Information Systems area. Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate classes related to business intelligence, database fundamentals, analytics, and data warehousing. A Master's degree in Information Technology and Management, Management Science, or Business Analytics is required, as is proficiency in Tableau, SQL, MS SQL server (SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS), and R. Candidates are also expected to support departmental activities associated with program management, including but not limited to, recruiting new students, advising existing students, and providing job placement and career management services. As an instructional practitioner, candidates will supervise departmental teaching assistants to ensure assigned duties are being performed. They will also promote the information systems and business analytics programs both internally and externally, participate in student activities, and perform other administrative duties as required. Appointment will be effective as soon as possible.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Relevant teaching and program administration experience required for candidates with Master’s degrees.
