In partnership with CBRE's Leasing Leaders, CBRE's Geographical Leaders, leasing professionals and Digital & Tech (D&T) organization, you will be responsible for the overall business execution, on a global basis, of CBRE's Leasing Digital Strategy workstreams. These workstreams are aimed at delivering an intuitive, connected suite of technology and data products focused on driving revenue growth, improving operational margins and differentiating CBRE's Leasing service offerings in the market place.
This role will be directly accountable for:
Clearly defining and partnering with D&T in prioritizing high level business needs that can be solved through changes or enhancements in technology. This will be measured by the ensuring all business stakeholders are aware and aligned with the yearly capital plan that defines technology investment priorities.
Effectively partner with business leaders and leasing professionals to identify, clearly articulate and communicate to D&T the most important and pressing problems/needs of our business.
Tracking and improving the Adoption of and Outcomes created from our Leasing Technologies. This will be measured through various product specific Adoption AND Outcome metrics.
Increasing the productivity of our Leasing producers. This will be measured by revenue per producer using Leasing Technologies
Improving Producer satisfaction of the overall technology architecture. This will be measured by employee surveys.
Increasing the number of pitches where technology is included. This will be measured by the percent of pitches that use technology.
Increase the overall win rate of A&T by using technology in the pitch. This will be measured by comparing the win rate of pitches where technology is included vs the win rate of pitches where technology was not included.
Leadership: Provide overall leadership on a global basis, (as the business leader) for technology solutions serving our A&T business and ensure our technology investment decisions are made based on sound business value propositions that are quantifiable and achievable.
Adoption and Outcome Performance: Drive perpetually increasing adoption of the A&T products on a global basis.
Technology Product Rationalization: Partner with D&T Leadership in initiatives aimed at consolidating or integrating the A&T Technology Products, making our technology offering more consolidated and feature rich
Organizational Change: Onboard and train all Accountable Executives and Business SPOCs (Single Point of Contact) who are the Business Leaders for the various A&T Technology Products.
Business Workflow: Enable an integrated, intuitive and streamlined workflow for our Leasing Professionals and supporting shared services.
Business Value: Ensure technology solutions are industry-leading; closely aligned to the needs of our producers; and help drive differentiated service products to our clients (both internal and external)
Business Development: Ensure the technology suite of products for our leasing business is a differentiator in winning new business. Support client-facing technology presentations as needed.
Business Intelligence and Analytics: Provide on demand, business intelligence to our geographical, product and business line leaders to help them better assess, run and grow their business
Client Intelligence and Analytics: Offer our occupier clients on demand commercial real estate analytics and insights that result in superior outcomes for them
KEYS TO SUCCESS
Workflow Analysis and Problem Solving: Clearly define the various workflows of our leasing professionals spanning all CBREs leasing services. Within those workflows identify, clearly articulate and prioritize producer pains that should be solved. Lead people and process changes to solve those problems. Partner with D&T to ensure technology enabled solutions are adopted.
Market Research: Conduct in-depth strategic research of our professionals, competitors and market needs to guide decisions around our technology, data and analytics investments.
Strategic Thinking: Contribute to and interpret key strategic objectives (revenue growth, margin improvements, etc.) into clearly defined technology and business transformation initiatives aimed at achieving those goals
Influence and Alignment: Partner, guide, influence and inspire various groups within CBRE to include the Digital and Technology (D&T) Org, various leasing leaders and producers, Global Sales Team, Clients, Customer Success Groups and CBRE's Learning & Development Org.
Tactical Planning, Roadmap and KPI Tracking: Own, but also collaborate across groups to define a coherent strategy and roadmap for Technology Investments, focused on estimating, tracking and maximizing returns on those investments. Also, ensure our products are appropriately resources from the business side to ensure success and maximize ROI.
Be both Business and Technology Minded: In short, help the business improve its technology acumen and help D&T improve its business acumen. Promote and educate end user-focused, agile development processes to the business. Influence end users to establish and maintain direct relationships with product development teams and ensure business stakeholders understand, participate and follow agile governance and product evolution practices.
Matrixed Oversight: Establish deep partnerships with and foster the alignment between various groups within CBRE to include: Advisory leadership, leasing and geographic leaders across the globe, functional leaders (Accounting, Finance, Marketing and Research).
Through the matrix organization, ensure all Business Leaders responsible for technology investments are appropriately resourced, trained and execute their responsibilities per defined KPIs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of eight to twelve years of related experience and/or training, including five years of experience at the management level. Experience in commercial real estate leasing services is required.
Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive of issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, senior leadership and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, senior leadership, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conduct financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
OTHER SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Technically savvy with solid experience using sales database systems, data visualization tools, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), Outlook, social media, internet. Strong understanding of the Agile Development methodology and user oriented design practices are a plus.
