We currently have an opening for a Senior Manager, Gift Processing Operations.
This position is a part of the Community Relations and Development (CRD) Department and manages gift processing operations for The Salvation Army Eastern Territory. With a team of 2 gift processing operations analysts, the Senior Manager will be responsible for processing lock box donations in a timely manner and facilitating solutions for all exception handling required, and always striving for accuracy to preserve the integrity of gift data. As part of the constituent relationship management (CRM) team, this individual may also support other CRM responsibilities as needed.
• Manage a team of two gift processing/data analysts and process donations received in a timely manner • Partner with Finance, CRD, IT and Divisions to ensure continued accuracy of donor records in CRD Systems • Partner with Finance, CRD, IT and Divisions to troubleshoot and resolve the processing of donations that require exception handling in a timely manner • Support the evolution of gift processing operations and identify ways to iteratively improve the quality, efficiency and processing of donations • Support CRD related business intelligence needs around gift processing on behalf of stakeholders • Lead various projects involving the enhancement for gift processing • Maintain a leadership role in managing expectations and providing transparency to all stakeholders regarding the status of gift processing and/or issues that may arise
Bachelor’s degree in analytical, technical or management related major
2-4 years of related working experience
Demonstrated experience working with data, troubleshooting issues and proactively facilitating solutions
Demonstrated experience analyzing data, developing reports and communicating effectively with stakeholders
Ability to identify and solve problems in a timely manner
Experience with relationship management and email or marketing automation applications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Project management experience preferred
