Information Technology Services at West Virginia University is seeking an Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Developer (Professional Technologist 3). This position will effectively utilize technical/application analytical skills to analyze WVU's organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation in support of our enterprise reporting needs.
In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will:
Collaborate and interact with business users to gather business requirements, translating those requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Lead the design and implementation of all the components of WVU's enterprise reporting infrastructure (Metadata, ETL, OBIEE RPD, Reports, and Dashboards).
Identify institutional weakness in reporting, data governance, and data standards, recommending alternatives and solutions to deliver continuous improvement in WVU's enterprise reporting and analytic capabilities.
Lead efforts for tuning for performance of OBIEE Reports and Dashboards, as well as other reporting tools.
Establish positive, professional relationship with staff.
Work effectively with others to accomplish project deliverables by sharing knowledge and ideas.
Communicate clearly and concisely in written and oral formats.
Participate in performance plans and evaluations, including establishing personal and career objectives for themselves.
Participates in and supports local/regional/national professional groups and organizations (OAUG, ODTUG, etc.).

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience required; degree in business/IT/finance or related degree preferred
A combination of four (4) years of experience in the following:
SQL is required. SQL and PL/SQL is preferred.
Experience with data analytics/reporting is required.
Leading small to medium sized project teams to deliver against project timelines is preferred.
Experience with reporting from or integration with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems preferred (Oracle Enterprise Business Suite is preferred).
Demonstrated experience administering and supporting enterprise wide application,
Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle OBIEE preferred.
Overall IT experience
