The Business Intelligence Developer will participate in business intelligence projects by performing analyses; documenting system requirements; constructing reporting and analytical solutions to support the expansion of the AU Business Intelligence platform to university’s various business domains. They will collaborate and receive technical guidance from Senior BI personnel, and with multiple customers/ stakeholders as needed. The Business Intelligence Developer is expected to gradually gain experience and assume increasing responsibilities over time.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
1-3 years of relevant experience
Understanding database structures and ability to analyze and develop fluency in various business functions, applications and user interfaces
Experience writing queries using reporting software such as MicroStrategy, Informer, Tableau and/or SAS
Ability to participate in cooperative efforts to gather complex requirements from non-technical users and translate them into technical requirements documentation
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to work creatively and collaboratively in a diverse and fast-moving office environment
Demonstrated ability to be a fast learner and a fast starter in a continuously evolving technological environment
Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service to a diverse customer base
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
