This Surginet Analyst will be responsible for:
Research, design, develop, implement and maintain reporting and analytical capabilities for the OR in the context of the hospital's clinical systems. Work closely with Business Intelligence team in reporting done in MicroStrategy.
Maintaining effective relationships with clinical managers. Assists managers in identifying information systems needs and project management related to information systems.
Initiating, maintain and communicate action plans regarding ongoing system implementation and support appropriate members of hospital staff.
Directing and participate in computer training and orientation activities for current and new personnel, students and physicians.
Developing and participate in system upgrades.
Providing mechanisms for soliciting ongoing feedback from users. Respond and follows up with staff concerns in a timely manner.
Developing and maintain reporting needs of the perioperative programs. Conduct audits and develop reports. Collaborate with Perioperative program managers to identity areas for improvement and efficiency.
Acting as a liaison with surgical department staff to assess their scheduling needs and provide information and training as needed.
Coordinating and evaluate projects associated with Surginet clinical applications.
Participating in planning related to future direction of Surginet and related efforts.
To qualify, you must have:
Bachelors in Computer Science or related degree required.
Background in clinical applications, operating room applications preferred.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex systems problems, and ability to prioritize, manage, and implement complex projects.
Ability to work with a variety of groups and multidisciplinary teams, including managers, clinical nursing staff, and technical personnel.
Preferred:Two plus years of related experience required. Two (2) plus years of hands on experience and proficiency with CCL, Cerner's Surginet and Powerchart,.
