The BusinessIntelligence Analyst develops requirements for Business intelligence solutionsunder occasional guidance. Proficient in utilizing BI tools tosatisfy end user data needs. Performs Data Analysisfunctions. Implements small projects or components of largeprojects. Ability to solve medium to complex problems.
Collaborative, openteam room work space environment. Expected to be an individualcontributor while working collaboratively with team members, manager and otherinternal resources.

Successfully uses the tool in situations of medium complexity.Occasionally needs assistance from internal technical support in usage of thetool. May have successfully completed in-depth training in core components ofthe skill.
Business Requirements Definition
Demonstrates knowledge of Business Requirements Definition inpractical applications of moderate difficulty. Able to identify potentialproblems through basic analysis and develop appropriate test cases to assureeffective testing of the application. Can analyze a Business RequirementsDefinition to determine processing flow, testing scenarios and userrequirements. Familiar with the steps necessary to complete a BusinessRequirements Definition for more advanced systems. Is able to interview businesscustomers to elicit data requirements and understand the relationships betweendata items.
Demonstrates the skill in practical data analysis applicationsof moderate difficulty. Navigates within established technology environments tolocate, validate, extract, and format data for data analysis. Ableto modify and run queries and standard reports from data tools and provide tousers. Can identify data values and data sources. Is familiar withdata modeling.
Demonstrates an understanding of analysis methods, designconcepts, data organization, business models, capabilities and limitations. Hasused at least one of the state-of-the-art software tools best for implementingthe method.

Bachelor's degree is required
2 years' experience is required
Knowledge of data, databases and systems required
Preferred: Oracle Business Intelligenceexperience preferred
SQL based querying skills preferred
