The student data warehouse will be the centerpiece of the campus reporting and analytics strategy, facilitating decision making at all levels. The incumbent plays a key role in augmenting the student data warehouse in support of UCI's student success initiative. The incumbent works in close collaboration with the Office of Institutional Research, Office of the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning, Graduate Division, Admissions, Division of Finance Administration, other units within OIT, and other campus offices.This data warehouse effort incorporates operational and transactional data from a variety of sources to provide operational data stores and dimensionally modeled data repositories, in support of ad-hoc analysis, reporting, displaying of key performance indicators (KPIs), projections and what-if modeling at the campus, school and departmental levels.Duties include documenting functional and technical requirements; developing, extending and maintaining dimensional database schemas; developing, implementing and maintaining extract-transform-load (ETL) processes, and ensuring that security and data integrity standards are met for all developed content.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
