Working in cooperation with the offices in the division of Student Services and Information Technology departments at HDS, the Coordinator will be responsible for conducting data analysis and reporting for internal and external constituencies; will manage departmental financial reconciliations; and will provide basic reception and administrative duties for Student Services suite.
Data Analysis and Reporting (Student Information System, Slate, PowerFAIDS): · Generate reports and presentations on retention, enrollment, admission, recruitment, financial aid, registration patterns, grading, classroom utilization, and others, as needed. · Maintain detailed reporting of data relating to enrollment and demographics necessary for internal reporting and external accreditation. · Production of regular and ad hoc enrollment and data reports, using the query functions available in the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions student information system and in the Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) report management system. · Ensure quality and accuracy of data managed within the SIS. · Creation and maintenance of documentation related to student information processes as related both to queries and functional processes. · Submission and management of help desk ticket system for addressing technical issues related to administrative use of the student information system. · In conjunction with the Assistant Director for Student Services Systems, managing the import and updating of student data in third party systems related to Career Services and course evaluations. · Assist with management of the Roombook reservation system for the Registrar, overseeing permissions, trainings, access, troubleshooting, and liaising with users and support providers at HDS and across the University. · Testing upgrades to the student information system upon request of the central Enterprise Student System team. · Produce reports and presentations form the data collection efforts, such as the Exit Survey and Alumni Career surveys. Edit excel spreadsheets of data to highlight necessary data points for reporting, depending on audience.
Fiscal and administrative management: · Responsible for tracking and reconciling expenditures across various Student Services accounts. Uses budget and tracking tools to produce budget reports for offices, as needed. · Reviews documents, hiring documents, and contracts to assure compliance with University requirements and notifies appropriate manager of unusual situations. · Run hiring process, contracting, set-up for computer and IT, and office space needs for student workers and new hires. · Creates and distributes contracts for vendors hired by departments within Student Services.
Reception and administrative duties: · Provide excellent customer service and assistance to visitors to the Student Services suite. Manage the distribution of incoming correspondence. · Order office supplies, manage inventory, maintain overall appearance of visiting area. Reconcile P-Card weekly and maintain all other financial records and receipts for the office. · Provide calendaring assistance for staff in the suite and arrange room reservation, as needed. Update and create documentation for business processes as requested/needed.

1-3 years of experience working with integrated student information systems within higher education.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Demonstrated experience writing and editing data queries utilizing third party reporting database tools. Knowledge of information technology data security standards is required. Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word. Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Slate, and OBI. Experience with data analysis and presentation using Tableau. Ability to write clearly and effectively. Previous experience with writing and editing technical documentation. Experience with fiscal administration tools. Experience with use of SQL in assisting in writing and debugging queries. Working knowledge of Family Education Reporting and Privacy Act (FERPA). Attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of various teams, both within HDS and the University.
