Provide advanced support of cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new, modifying, and supporting existing software applications. Undertakes complex projects requiring specialized technical knowledge and innovative thinking.
As a member of WashU IT Enterprise Applications Production & Operations team, you will provide escalated support for the University’s key administrative and enterprise systems including HR, Finance, Student, Business Intelligence, etc. This position will work a combination of incidents, service requests, operational tasks and technical debt improvement projects.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct work flow study and analysis of business practices����������
Analyze and document existing processes as they relate to information technology solutions
Provide, cultivate and foster excellent customer service
Enforce adherence to departmental standards
Instruct, train, and guide less experienced staff
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, plus 3 years relevant technology experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Technical Experience:
Microsoft SQL (T-SQL)
SQL Integration Services (SSIS)
7 years of relevant technology experience
Prior experience in a higher education technology environment
Team Skills: Supports teammates at all times and in any way necessary to maintain a productive, energetic, efficient and dynamic WashU IT team. Communicates effectively and frequently both verbally and in writing with other members of the team. Collaborates with other teammates to provide assistance, and expertise, as well as to receive expert input and assistance from others delivering the best solution and experience for the customer.

The hiring range for this position is $71,323 - $92,789 annually.
