Financial Planning & Analysis focuses on all aspects of business planning and financial forecasting in support of the company’s overall strategic initiatives. The principal areas of responsibilities include the development of the annual operating plan and the annual and long-term compensation incentive plans, monthly and quarterly measurement of financial and compensation incentive performances against plan, and ad hoc projects related to M&A activity, financing structure, cash deployment strategy, or risk management. The role involves the coordination and collaboration with various functional disciplines and frequent interactions with the company’s leadership team including segment and corporate CFOs and Controllers.
Performs economic research and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and income statements. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management. Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, and document format for data processing equipment. May provide analysis on business development and may monitor business performance by unit or division.
10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with Masters
• MBA with a concentration in Finance or Accounting, MS in Finance or Accounting • CFA, CPA or CMA • Experience with multi-dimensional databases including Oracle Hyperion planning, budgeting, forecasting; SAP BPC or similar business intelligence and analytics tools. • Strong general accounting and/or financial planning and analytic experience, thorough understanding of financial statements and strong presentation skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. • A well rounded candidate with a willingness to support various corporate functions, as needed.
