The University of Tennessee Foundation is seeking a Director of Prospect Management and Research. Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President of Advancement Services, the Director oversees six research analysts and an Assistant Director that support activities of UT Foundation fundraising initiatives by participating and consulting directly with senior leadership, development directors and other UT staff to identify and qualify major donor prospects, prospect/portfolio management, constituent research, fund account requests, as well as coordinating gift agreements. This specialized research and analysis unit facilitates the cultivation and solicitation of top prospects by all gift officers, as well as the deans and directors of academic units and other senior officers. The Director will conceptualize and develop proactive prospecting methodologies to support organizational goals, including data mining, sophisticated constituent database queries, and analysis and production of research findings. This position will work closely with the Assistant Vice President of Advancement Services, Director of Business Intelligence, and Vice Chancellors of all campuses to develop/manage prospect pools.
