Specialist IV/V/VI, Information Technology (Applications Systems Analyst)

The Office of Information Technology is seeking to fill two Applications Systems Analyst positions for Auburn University's Ellucian Banner ERP and associated Student, Financial Aid, and Accounts Receivables systems and interfaces. Positions implement new or modified applications that meet University business and technical needs and are responsible for application design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Reviews, modifies, and writes program code for the implementation of business requirements utilizing current technologies and tools.
Provides technical oversight for the application of and compliance with technical standards such as code reviews, unit testing, and security reviews.
Coordinating with managers and directors in both technical and functional areas to analyze business procedures and develop IT solutions.
Prepares and reviews detailed specifications from which programs will be written in order to ensure compliance with business and technical requirements.
The Level IV is under close supervision, assists with the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives based on client needs. The Level V and above are under progressively less supervision; along with more technical and analytical responsibilities.

The Level IV position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and five (5) or more years of experience in computer maintenance, troubleshooting, graphic and web site design, and programming.
Employer may consider advanced relevant degrees in lieu of some portions of experience. Salaries are typically between $55K and $65K.
The Level V position requires a Bachelor's degree and four (4) or more years of experience in same areas. Salaries are typically between $60K and $72K.
The Level VI requires a Bachelor's degree and seven (7) or more years of experience in the same areas. Salaries are typically between $70K and $85K.
Experience with Oracle (or other relational databases) and SQL.
Web application development experience: HTML5, AngularJS, REST, and JSON.
Knowledge of Ellucian Banner ERP
Qlik or another Business Intelligence and Visualization tool.
