Job Summary Provides technical support for the Enrollment Management (EM) Team and collaborates with other departments to conduct business and identify business objectives and requirements. Coordinates the planning and implementation of systems-related projects and provides customer support, including training to functional users. Develops reports and complex queries for strategic data-driven decision-making. Evaluates alternatives to general business practices and determines methods to streamline and/or automate processes. Ensure information systems uphold overall organizational mission and objective and assist in the development of technology plans and strategies. Reports to the Director of Admission.
Responsible for the CRM needs of the Division; designs, strategizes, implements and maintains the best methods of practice as well as assess and determine plans for all future needs.
Building and maintaining the data framework to support all admission data entry and retrieval as well as enrollment management reports.
Design, create and produce operational and strategic reports and information queries from the admission database. Ensure data integrity, and provide analysis of key reports to various on and off-campus constituents.
Works with IT staff to manage the University's Colleague administrative software for admission and the admission CRM.
Responsible for the data flow and design into the student database which includes inquiries and applicants and how that data flows back and forth to Colleague.
Manage technical support for how applications for admission are submitted, imported, acknowledged, completed, reviewed, and integrated into the University’s Student Information System.
Coordinate continuous system training for staff to enhance knowledge of software applications and emerging technology. Develop and maintain an archive of training materials and reference guides for end users, a procedures manual for staff, and documentation of policies and work flow protocols.
Develop and maintain system audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Work closely with the Director of Admission, the Assistant Vice President of Student Financial Services, VP for Enrollment and Student Financial Services, the Office of Information Technology, Student Information Services and off-campus partners to communicate and resolve systems challenges.
Supports the integration of Slate with Ellucian Colleague, Front Rush and other campus information systems.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems including data structures, workflows and ability to train users at all levels of proficiency. Preference for current experience with Technolutions Slate. Supports recruitment operations including the successful implementation and ongoing use of admission CRM, as well as development, execution, and analysis of data-driven targeted recruitment campaigns. Designs and produces enrollment reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis. Ability to manage competing priorities and multi-task in support of enrollment goals. Supports the implementation of data-informed and systems-based solutions to facilitate the execution of outreach, recruitment travel, territory management, recruitment communication, campus visit programming, yield programming, faculty and staff recruitment efforts, and reporting and analysis. Demonstrated experience in the development of data visualization tools and reports within a business intelligence software (such as Tableau, Power BI and Qlik) with an understanding of data security, and implementation of web-based reporting tools. High probability to interact with system integrations, both cloud and on premise, built using XML, JSON, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and Analysis Services. Excellent computer and analytical skills; an understanding of programming logic/workflow, and data population. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) system and business intelligence/reporting tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills demonstrating the ability to collect, integrate, and research readily available data from various sources to influence decision-making for best practices, designing workflows, and ensuring data integrity. Demonstrated experience of using technology to solve problems and make improvements.
Education Bachelor's degree required.
Experience 3 years of relevant work experience required.

Education A master’s degree in a related area such as Educational Technology, Data Analytics or Information Systems is preferred.
Experience Preference given to candidates with experience using Slate and who have integrated PowerFaids into a recruitment CRM. EM office experience (e.g., admissions, financial aid, registrar, enrollment management).
