1. Serves as the liaison between new faculty, YNHH and YMG. Coordinates administrative activities including clinical scheduling and contract credentialing. 2. Monitors and enforces YMG Policies and Procedures, Practice Standards, HIPAA regulations and Billing Compliance standards throughout all operational activities. 3. Responsible for ensuring that new faculty billing areas are built in the EMR system and coordination of appropriate access and training. Develops processes to streamline communications between EMR team, physicians, and clinical staff. 4. Collects and analyzes EMR metrics for all faculty and ensures adherence to dashboard benchmarks. 5. Monitors patient satisfaction through surveys and other feedback. Identifies and responds to issues to improve department specific performance goals. 6. Participates in the management of staff, patient relations and answering service questions and concerns. 7. May perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Education: EPIC or other EHR experience preferred. Extensive knowledge of CPT-4 and ICD-10 coding, medical terminology and third party payer requirements.
