Drawing upon direct experience with coding and billing practices at Yale Medicine: 1. Partner with clinical providers and using quality and performance data, provide performance support to ensure coding and billing practices are followed. Deliver exceptional service to all internal customers. 2. Perform and prepare quality and performance data and analysis utilizing a variety of clinical provider data sources and use this data to provide targeted support. 3. Develop performance support and training reference materials to include clinical documentation, Epic workflows and coding, and delivery methods specific to each clinical department. 4. Partner with Yale Medicine Administration Learning & Development to create training outlines and modules. Produce training materials using Word, PowerPoint, and other appropriate training technologies and tools. 5. Relate to previous and new method of accomplishing tasks by quickly understanding system vocabulary, business process and content. 6. Using requirements, test cases, provider and coder quality assurance data, partner with SME to validate content for training materials. 7. Identify and use the appropriate delivery style for the audiences with varying degrees of knowledge and capabilities. 8. Deliver informational updates and training sessions to coding and billing teams and clinical department liaisons for feedback and modification of performance support and training materials 9. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and performance support from provider feedback as well as provider and coder quality assurance and revenue cycle data and initiate necessary next steps. 10. Coordinate and deliver on-going support in a variety of venues including one-on-on coaching and phone support.
Preferred Education: Previous end-user support, training, and Epic experience. Experience in a multi-specialty group practice, academic medicine plan or hospital.
