Responsibilities include: – building Tableau Dashboards, provide analysis, reporting, assessment, benchmarking, and planning to help inform policy and decision-making relating to enrollment management, recruitment, retention, graduation and assist in the development of enrollment and credit hour modeling. Will provide answers to questions posed by campus administration using primary and secondary data including IPEDS and Delaware, and collaborate with Information Technology, OIPE, and functional data warehouse/business intelligence staff to design and maintain web-based reports, dashboards.
Bachelor's degree with nine credit hours in programming and one year of experience in business application consulting or development; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
The following qualities and skills are highly preferred: – Four-year degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, computer information systems, social sciences, or similar discipline; Graduate degree in a discipline requiring coursework in statistics, data analysis, relational databases is highly desirable – Minimum of 2 years experience using reporting and statistical software in analyzing data; experience in a university setting a plus – Proficiency with a variety of computer software, especially Microsoft Access and Excel – Experience using SAS, SPSS, R, Stata, or other statistical packages in analyzing large datasets – Experience with data warehouses (SSAS), SQL Server, analytical reporting tools such as SSRS, Tableau – Programming skills in SQL Experience in data analysis and production of high quality reports and presentations – History of proactive problem solving and analysis
