We are seeking a systems-savvy and big-picture business-minded Analyst!
Essential Functions of the Role:
Workday Finance and Payroll Support (40%):
Monitor batch processing of production jobs and interfaces, identify and resolve transaction errors and provide direction for corrections.
Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement and establish efficient business practice process.
Participate in internal customer meetings to understand requirements and challenges.
Recommend system improvements and controls to enhance customer satisfaction, and mitigate chronic systems issues.
Support the needs of the user community to define and resolve software issues and day-to-day application issues.
Leverage Workday expertise to creatively use the application in order to meet business requirements.
Log support requests to troubleshoot and resolve various system issues.
Report Development and Administration (40%):
Design, develop and maintain a report distribution to support the Workday Finance Application.
Provide ad hoc data queries or reports to users for analysis.
Maintain a secure report repository by following established business practices.
Modify existing production reports as required.
Finance Security Administration (10%):
Coordinate the onboarding and termination of users.
Setup and configure new Workday Finance users.
Support annual and adhoc security audits and reviews.
Maintain the appropriate documentation and procedures.
Troubleshoot access problems and monitor batch processes related to Workday security.
Other Responsibilities (10%):
Support during period closes and other major financial milestones.
Develop and conduct testing of complex system bugs, upgrades and enhancements.
Mentor our user community and help others resolve issues.
Conduct information sessions as new business processes and technologies are developed.
Handle other projects or assignments as assigned.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
2-4 years of applicable hybrid experience with finance/systems
Solve unclearly defined problems
Think conceptually to understand complex issues and their implications
Comfort with SQL-style thinking
2-4 years of experience with enterprise reporting applications and/ or ERP systems (i.e. Peoplesoft, Banner, ADP, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Business, finance, accounting, or related field or equivalent experience
5-7 years of experience with enterprise reporting applications
2-4 years of experience with Workday
