WittKieffer is pleased to collaborate with AllSpire Health Partners as the organization seeks a dynamic GPO executive to serve as its next Executive Vice President (EVP). Founded in 2016 by five member organizations, Atlantic Health System, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Hackensack Meridian Health, Tower Health, and WellSpan Health, AllSpire Health Partners (AHP) represents 41 acute care facilities and over 1,400 non-acute facilities in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic United States. Combined these organizations have $15B in revenue with $3.2B in supply chain spend. The organization is a collaborative, regional group purchasing organization utilizing innovation as a platform to escalate the improvement of clinical outcomes, enable greater access to affordable healthcare, ensure economic sustainability, and enhance patient, physician, and clinician satisfaction amongst its members. AHP is dedicated to reducing the total cost of healthcare through optimized purchase pricing, supply utilization management, regional collaborative service centers, and comprehensive clinical value analysis. Reporting to the AHP Chairman and CEO, with responsibility to the Board of Managers and Operating Committee, the EVP will provide strategic and operational oversight to all functions of the company to include strategy development, GPO operations, contract portfolio administration, data analytics/business intelligence, performance management, membership management and growth. The incoming EVP will bring a strong passion and vision for contemporary healthcare supply chain strategies and a desire to leverage the combined opportunity on behalf of the member organizations. The successful candidate must possess strong supply chain leadership and management experience within a progressive, complex, and high performing organization and preferably have experience with both hospital/health systems as well as in a group purchasing organization. Candidates should have demonstrated success and knowledge of contracting and purchasing, logistics, distribution models, and a track record of effectively leveraging automation and technology. They will have knowledge of efficient expense management approaches, including sophisticated analysis, tracking and reporting of supply chain and cost reduction initiatives. While content expertise is critical, the candidate of choice must have well developed leadership skills. A master’s degree is required.
