We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Data Warehouse Developer to work at our Corporate office in Brentwood, TN ! If you possess a “whatever it takes attitude” keep reading. It’s hard to pinpoint a “typical” day here (and who wants typical anyway?), but as the Senior Enterprise Data Warehouse Developer, you will work closely with key business users to develop Semantic Layer. Lead role develops mentoring program to assist team growth for less experienced team members. This role works with Data Modeler and DBA to develop dimensional model (Star Schema) for EDW Semantic Layer. This role establishes best practices surrounding code standards, reusable and scalable code. Leads the Agile process for the EDW Team. This role will be responsible for the following items in addition to other duties as assigned. What You’ll Do for Us: Develops Star Schema model with DBA – Data Modeler. Oversees and provides guidance in development Enterprise Data Warehouse Semantic Layer. Utilizes Premise Health IT Toolset for agile and collaborated development Develop best practices surrounding reusable and scalable code Builds EDW Semantic layer including AJIs, aggregated tables, views and stored procedure Monitors work of less experienced peers and team members and provides feedback and coaching as needed. Collaborate with Business Intelligence Architect to understand front end architecture requirements Collaborate with ETL Architect, Data Modeler and DBAs to understand Enterprise Core design and architecture Collaborate with Data Quality Analyst Lead to ensure data quality through the semantic layer. Iteratively optimize the semantic layer from optimizer plans Build Dimensional model to support slowly changing dimensions Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Business or Science discipline or a related discipline or equivalent work experience Experience: 5-7 years’ experience designing and building Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions 5-7 years’ experience SQL development including stored procedures, macros, functions and aggregate joins 5-7 years’ Dimensional Modeling experience Teradata experience a plus 1-3 years’ Healthcare experience 1-3 years’ experience in Agile – Scrum Knowledge and Skills: Expert level experience presenting and communicating findings/recommendations to cross-functional teams and/or leadership.
