Summary: The Analytics Consultant reports to the Manager of Analytics. This position is an advanced technical professional role responsible for exploring and analyzing data across the enterprise and presenting information and key insights that supports the organization's strategies. The Data Science Analyst will have in-depth knowledge across multiple technical environments as well as strong business acumen and can provide expertise regarding systems design, integration and performance analysis across the business. The role promotes shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows, and it ensures that new technology solutions do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies. This role will interface with the business and IT community to ensure that the right people have access to the right data in the right format at the right time. The Analytics Consultant will identify and prioritize opportunities for and contribute to the improvement of quality, safety and cost, as well as Patient, Customer, Physician and Employee satisfaction. S/he is expected to perform all work in accordance with all relevant LRH standards, policies, and procedures. S/he may perform other duties as assigned.
Standard Work Duties: Analytics Consultant - Partner with business and clinical users to understand strategic goals and desired outcomes, defining requirements for data, reporting and analysis. - Prepare written and graphical summaries on the interpretation of analyzed data and scenarios. - Strategic dashboard and report development, using various applications and analyzing financial, market, clinical quality and various outside data sets. - Collect, organize, analyze and interpret data and statistical information to understand patterns that will support decision making and direction. - Lead deep drive discussions into operational analysis and gap reporting to identify adverse outcomes, opportunities for improvement, and efficiencies across the health system. - Quality Assurance Audits and troubleshooting issues
