You will help drive sales growth by identifying areas for expansion and improvement. You will use methods such as analyzing key metrics; coordinating with sales, accounting and marketing teams to develop and implement solutions; and coordinating across sales teams to ensure sales goals are met in a timely fashion and in compliance with best practices and relevant regulations.
Develop and enhance sale executive scorecarding across all sales functions and enhance realized revenue financial models
Implement reporting and operating cadence to measure and manage all facets of new business generation from lead to deal closure to deal postmortems for executive management
Perform analysis regarding our sales pipeline demonstrating the impact of both won and lost opportunities as well as market fluctuations
Develop market models for market size, market share and wallet share calculations across all company businesses
Identify and acquire actionable market data and intelligence to facilitate sales executives’ new business generation
Analyze data and trends to help support decision making on sales operations, forecasting, revenue, sales targets, and pricing
Aggregate and collect data from a multitude of internal and external sources to create comprehensive and predictive models
Work closely with sales management to understand and maintain focus on their specific data needs, including identifying key metrics, and deliver actionable analysis
Understand changing business conditions and their impact on business processes and operations
Document and regularly update sales operations and sales systems procedures
Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from sales management or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives sales performance
Perform additional Microsoft Dynamics support in conjunction with the MS Dynamics Administrator, owning dashboard set-up, training, compliance and reporting
BA/BS degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or Statistics
Microsoft Dynamics experience and Microsoft Power BI experience is a plus
Solid MS Office applications experience (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams
Outstanding analytical and written and oral communication skills
Background experience in supporting sales
Knack for data analysis and problem solving
Expertise and experience with data mining, evaluation, analysis and dealing with imperfections in data
This role requires an individual with technical background and understanding of sales reporting, sales analytics, data management, business intelligence solutions, superior communication skills and the ability to work and collaborate with key business partners
