Temporary - Data Warehousing Associate (Summer Intern)

In this role as a Data Warehousing Associate you will work closely with Princeton’s academic and administrative department staff to review and assess collections of business intelligence (BI) reports. As part of the assessment, you will help identify the reports that are critical to supporting the department’s business operations, as well as single out reports that can be safely eliminated.
What you’ll be doing:
Meeting with our departmental business partners to review their report collection
Developing a strategy to identify reports critical to business operations, consolidate reports, and eliminate reports that are no longer needed
Working on report collections to consolidate and delete reports according to the departmental assessments
Skills you bring to the table:
Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Self motivation and the ability to work with a limited amount of supervision
Skills you will gain:
A deep understanding of the data used at the University to support business operations
Experience in creating data warehousing reports and analyses
Experience in working with standard Business Intelligence tools, such as IBM Cognos
