The Finance Business Intelligence Systems Manager role is a highly collaborative role working with the Finance function and the IT organization to establish reliable systems/data foundation for the enterprise. He/She must understand the finance reporting and analytics environment in the broader context of the enterprise's business systems and data architecture. This position is expected to provide thought leadership in information design and visualization tools, along with educating members of the finance organization on how to best use the reporting and analytics environment.
Accountable for the overall success of the financial reporting and analytics environment and execution of the required systems roadmap across Rockwell Automation
Establishes and maintains financial reporting and analytics governance including data owners throughout the business
Defines, prioritizes and manages the financial reporting and analytics environment and project initiatives
Works directly with the finance function to promote the new financial reporting and analytics capabilities and practices
Brings a customer experience lens to the finance and IT functions
Partners with finance, business partners and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into solutions. Helps clarify the reporting and analytics objectives and expectations of the digital technology
Introduces and accelerates new technologies and methodologies to support digital transformation
Partners with solution architects to provide scalable and adaptable architectural solutions
Develops and maintains policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent financial reporting and analytics framework is applied across the company
Lead the change management communication across the organization
Design and deploy data security policy that complies with the company's "need to know" requirement
Ability to drive business culture and technology change in a dynamic environment
Demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholders
Ability to adapt to, and assist colleagues to work through change and support change management processes
