Project Manager, Ferrovial Holding US Corp., Austin, TX. Responsible for projects and changes requests in order to guarantee the correct execution and to make sure deadlines, costs, quality, functionality requirements and visibility are fulfilled during the project's life-cycle. Provides a global technical and functional vision to the solutions managers, in order to be able to cooperate in the detection of new needs, projects extensions, and solutions definition. Once a project has been awarded, this role will liaise with the client in order to detail the project's requirements and the client's expectations. Study and analyze the assigned projects and changes requests including: viability, milestone, testing plans, technical and functional approach. Will communicate them to the solutions manager for decision making in order to establish a framework that ensures the correct fulfillment. Supervise and produce the project's operating design and global planning, in order to obtain a clear task structure and schedule. Coordinate relations within the business units affected by projects and changes requests, and keep all managers involved and informed to ensure the correct development and encourage the communication flow. Supervise and validate the work delegated to different suppliers within the projects and changes requests, in order to guarantee the fulfillment from the commitment taken and the correct invoicing. Revise, validate and inform about the projects and changes requests development in order to guarantee the correct execution, making sure deadlines, risks, quality and budget costs are fulfilled, apart from identifying the possible deviations or problems. Guarantee preparation from all the documents and information from the projects and changes requests, as well as assure that all internal information systems are informed.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, Post-baccalaureate related work experience.
- Must have 5 years of experience in IT project management and/or software development life cycle;
- Must have 1 year of experience in the implementation of at least one project of business intelligence systems;
- Must have 1 year of experience working with agile methodologies; and
Must be certified in SAP Business ByDesign.
Requires 50% of domestic travel.
