Better requires process discipline and simplification We'll be looking to you to provide regional strategic and business legal support for the money transfer, digital and payments operations in Europe and the CIS, including the business solutions capital markets business. Deliver regional strategic regulatory legal support for MT & Payments. Oversight of licensed entities and licensing requirements in the region. Understand and communicate regional competitive trends and risks to corporate strategy. Manage and motivate a team of regional lawyers and paralegals. Actively participate with MT & Payments teams to implement regional solutions that drive end-to-end customer value.
For such a pivotal role, you will have a history of related/practical legal experience in law firm or corporate legal department. 5+ years' experience in Financial Services and/or Payments industries. Qualified to practice law in your jurisdiction. Proven track record of strategic legal support in corporate business environment. Demonstrated track record of complex commercial contract drafting and negotiation. Exhibited knowledge of a broad range of regional regulatory and compliance matters critical to financial services and payments. Familiarity of competitive offerings and activities and understand external business intelligence. Willingness to question the status quo and advocate for necessary change to improve internal processes and how the company contracts with business partners and customers. Proven capabilities with product management disciplines, lean management techniques, and an agile approach to providing legal services
