Under direction of the Chief Strategy Officer, supports annual and multi-year business planning for Detroit Medical Center / Detroit Market, working closely with market leadership and hospital strategy leaders. These efforts include integrating market health care utilization data and competitive dynamic insights into forecasting, business opportunity identification, assessment, and monitoring execution of prioritized initiatives. Independently leads market assessment and pro-forma development for major capital projects. Develops and maintains market analytics and business intelligence solution(s) deployed across the market, inclusive of managing external vendor relationships. Partners with market operators and develops communications for senior executives and Board discussions.

Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or related discipline. MBA or Masters in Health Care Administration (preferred).
Five years of related work experience in financial services, management consulting or business planning in health care.
Advanced Excel and Querying skills; substantial experience with data analysis and modeling. Experience with building, developing and validating Tableau (data visualization software) reports preferred.
