The Associate, Technology Leadership Program will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and hands-on experience directly aligned to NYU Information Technologys (NYU IT) strategic initiatives and core services in support of the universitys daily operations and visionary goals. The Technology Leadership Program (TLP) will cover an 18 month period, during which participants will have three sequential six-month rotations, based on individual interests and determined by divisional needs. The following rotational assignments may be available: Cloud Systems Administrator Data Engineering/Data Analyst Systems Engineer High Speed Research Network Administrator IAM Developer Workfront Administrator Junior Business Intelligence Developer LaGuardia Studio Advances Media Specialist Security Operations Analyst User Experience Analyst
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Earned by June of the program application year
Preferred Education: Major in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with a technical concentration or minor
Required Experience: 1+ years
Preferred Experience: Internship or co-op experience in an IT related function
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Strong problem solving skills and ability to follow up on instructions independently Ability to manage time, set priorities, meet deadlines, and achieve goals Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and maintain effective working relationships with supervisory personnel, co-workers, subordinates, vendors and other business professionals is essential Ability to thrive in fast-paced, results-driven organization Proficient knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software Demonstrated experience of programming is desirable for development roles
