Under the direction of the Director, the Senior HR Analyst extracts, analyzes and synthesizes data derived from various systems, including the ERP (PeopleSoft), the Applicant Tracking System (Taleo), the case management system (Salesforce) and the project management system (TuftsProjects), in order to develop and report on performance measures that focus on activities that drive HR strategy, support department priorities, and foster continuous improvement. The Analyst identifies trends, creates management dashboards, designs and produces regularly scheduled report packs, conducts ad hoc reporting, monitors data integrity, and participates in department projects including technology updates, testing, and implementation.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of related experience in data management and reporting including process design, measurement, data analysis, relational databases, and reporting tools.
Exposure to concepts of Business Intelligence analysis; understanding of basic statistics.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of ERP (preferably PeopleSoft).
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent customer service orientation and strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive data, prioritize, meet deadlines, problem-solve and research thoroughly, contribute to peer learning and collaborate in a team environment.
Aptitude for using technology.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Statistics.
Work experience in higher education.
Work experience in an HR department.
Familiarity with Taleo applicant tracking system.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred).
