The University of Texas Permian Basin welcomes applicants for the position of Business Analyst, Campus Solutions. The successful finalist will focus on enrollment, financial aid, and registration automation within the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions module and play a key role in enhancing our students’ experience when applying for admission, registering for classes, and receiving financial aid at UTPB. The incumbent will manage all PeopleSoft issues for Enrollment Services, allowing staff to focus on service to students. This position also manages new product and process implementations including Slate, Mongoose, and AdAstra.
Provide skilled analysis of business and management problems in terms of system requirements and modify system design to maximize efficient use of information systems
Consult with departmental personnel for problem definition and management requirements
Analyze workflows, database structures and business analysis requirements to define/implement system improvements
Define programming requirements and implement programming for systems integration and related functions
Provide necessary documentation and consultation for implementation of systems
Manage the University document imaging/workflow system
Work with IRD staff, the CISO and various departmental staff to provide excellent IT support services
Other duties, as assigned
SCHEDULE: Generally, the hours for this exempt position are Monday through Thursday, 7:30am – 5:30pm and Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm. The individual holding this position may need to be available early mornings, evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the University.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Three (3) years’ experience in IT programming/analysis with emphasis on enterprise systems and systems integration
A mastery knowledge level of Microsoft Office software, (specifically Word, Excel, Access and Outlook).
Solid knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems. Knowledge of networking systems.
The desire as well as the ability to research and master emerging computer technologies
Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check
Experience with document management, business intelligence/reporting and data warehouses would be a plus
