Job Description Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Analytics & Reporting, the Senior Business & Research Analyst is responsible for leading and maintaining the business intelligence operations for the Research, Assessment, and Effectiveness Office. The Senior Business & Research Analyst will manage the design, development, and maintenance of data warehouses and data models. This position will use the College's enterprise business intelligence tools, SQL, the Microsoft software suite, as well as other appropriate tools to carry out these functions. The Senior Business & Research Analyst will work closely with college stakeholders to understand complex business and informational needs and translate those needs into reports and analyses.
Bachelor's degree in social science, computer technology, management information systems, or a related field.
Two years of full-time equated experience in data analysis of large data sets, preferably longitudinal data sets.
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining data warehouses and models. A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for minimum qualifications.
Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
Two years of experience in higher education preferred.
Master's preferred in social science, computer technology, management information systems or a related field.
Must be available to work between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. Work schedule subject to change based on the needs of the department.
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
