About the Role
The prospect team member will play the Technology Manager role, required to work with the Consumer Lending Capital Markets & Home Lending Servicing Data technology and business partners to develop target state roadmap for the applications, develop detailed technology designs supporting technology and business driven projects, establish best practices, propose process improvements and lead the implementation efforts while being technically hands-on and managing teams of developers, QA and support staff.
Act as technology manager to manage a team of developers, QA and support members to work on various master data management project implementation and support Actively participate in the evolution and adoption of the data transformation strategy by implementing solutions that are aligned with the enterprise data blueprint. Actively participate in developing technology target state roadmap for the applications in the portfolio while partnering with relevant business and technology stakeholders.
Effectively work in a hybrid environment legacy ETL and Data Warehouse applications and new Big-Data applications systems co-exist. Expected to contribute towards integrating complex platforms/systems including developing efficient solutions to redesign the existing applications to effectively leverage the Enterprise Data Lake.
Implement data driven solutions/applications that can scale and meet the technology resiliency, information security, regulatory and business demands. Implements data integration, analytics, reporting, business intelligence and visualization solutions.
Researches new technologies, frameworks, tools and implements proof of concepts. Develops reusable solutions that can be used across the groups.
Fully aware of and builds technology solutions that are in line with the enterprise data controls for data quality, meta data management, data security.
Acts as the point person for the business in planning and execution of the projects and critical issue resolution.
Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing.
Develop and implement standards, procedures and best practices for design and development, have experience in performance tuning of applications.
Ensures that the applications are tested for resiliency and implements required solutions to increase the availability.
Effectively communicate to broad and diverse audience with differing needs at all levels in the organization.
Technology Skills: 14+ years of overall application development process experience
4+ years of technology management experience of leading teams involved in engineering/development functions
7+ years of ETL development experience in the tools like Ab Initio or Informatica,
7+ years of working with Databases such as Teradata, SQLServer, or Oracle.
4+ years of working with BI tools such as MSBI (SSRS/SSAS), Business Objects. Tableau is a plus.
Proven experience in building data warehousing solutions, data integration projects, data analytics and visualization.
Financial services experience, must have good understanding of the Consumer Lending products and thorough understanding of the Home Lending Capital Markets functioning.
Working experience of AbInitio ETL, Express>IT, DQE is a plus.
Thorough understanding of the Meta data processing, Data Quality best practices and supporting tools and technologies.
Must have strong knowledge of data security principles and experience with implementation using industry practices, tools and techniques.
Good knowledge of tracking/project management tools like JIRA/Confluence.
Must have experience of managing Agile projects – Must have experience of transitioning from waterfall model to agile methodology
BE/B-Tech or Higher Excellent analytical & interpersonal skills
