Opportunity to be part of an international team providing business intelligence solutions for better decision making As an Associate Sales Representative at Bureau van Dijk in Manchester you will be part of one of the world leading providers of sophisticated business intelligence. You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in a rapidly growing industry and play an indispensable role to our multinational clients. Our state of the art databases and software that cover all areas within business intelligence help our clients minimize risk, make complex analyses and identify business opportunities in the areas of e.g. credit, procurement and compliance. We are currently looking for an additional team member who can contribute to our high growth rates, joining a fun and collaborative team and working in a flexible office environment located in our brand-new office in the heart of Manchester! We are looking for a highly motivated team player eager to learn and develop into the next step of your career where you will eventually be more consultative. Help drive the development of business within the assigned territories.
Assess the needs of the client by gaining an understanding of the specific issues facing the client based on their business requirements.
Support more senior relationship managers in servicing larger and or/ strategic accounts.
Build relationships across client and prospect organizations to maintain desired pipeline levels.
Coordinate BvD responses to requests for product and services information from prospects and clients.
Position requires travel (approximately 20% of your time)
Qualifications Qualifications and Skills (desired but not required)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, economics or finance
Experience in new business prospecting, preferably from an outbound sales role where you worked to high call targets.
Excellent communication, presentation, time management and organizational skills
Self-driven, ambitious and outgoing personality
Fluency in English is required
The position will require remote working/office rotation on return due to the current impact of COVID-19.
