Incumbent manages complex projects that drive sustainable, measurable change. Supports leadership decision making in a variety of subject matter areas including: process measures, performance metrics, scheduling, resource utilization, labor and productivity, quality and patient satisfaction measures. Develops and implements strategic priorities for the Perioperative Services Department. Plans and leads multiple projects. Identifies best practices and designs solutions with stakeholders. Leverages data systems to build fact based plans/designs that quantify financial and operational benefits, and prioritize efforts. Builds and embeds performance management processes to sustain change. Responsibilities include the collection, analysis, and summarization of data for complex business problems to provide insight for key stakeholders of Perioperative Services. Develops forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data knowledge. Works with business and clinical units to understand and prioritize data and information requirements.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Thorough knowledge of business intelligence functions, analytics, industry standards & best practices
Thorough knowledge of relevant internal databases, BI applications and tools. Ability to produce high-quality reports and documentation
Proven ability to serve as a technical resource providing advice and counsel on business intelligence issues
Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate and control various activities efficiently and effectively
Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality; knowledge of HIPAA and PHI requirements
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent business experience/training
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex information, assess problems, and develop effective solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Resourcefulness to identify and search for information that is not readily available
Excellent computer skills and experience with a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to effectively work with all health systems staff
Previous experience in Perioperative setting
