The Traded Products Business Content Analyst consults with APP leads, and leadership team to identify and define business requirements based on business needs for APP content delivery and data provisioning solutions as well as support and evolution of these solutions. This position requires an expert understanding of both the technology and business components of the project and their interdependencies for the desired solution. Primary Responsibilities:
Expert understanding of the Collateral, Margin management and client agreements documentation.
Hands on experience in the Collateral Strategy, operations, margin and collateral management on the sell side.
Expert understanding of the Securities and Derivatives product including, but not limited to, financial products, booking and lifecycle management, settlements, market risk aspects of the products.
Hands on experience and a strong grasp of front to back derivatives business process and trade work flow from front/middle/back office stand-point and operational aspects of product/trade lifecycle management.
Work with leads, and stakeholders across finance, risk, line of business, compliance, DMI, and technology subject matter experts to identify and document information business requirements.
Identifies internal and external data sources to meet business content requirements.
Conducts highly complex data analysis and makes recommendations. Compiles/mines data from multiple, cross business sources.
Ensures adherence to data management and data governance policies.
Analyze large sized, structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources.
Drive technology partners and the business in the software development delivery cycle, use and adoption of query tools, reporting tools, business intelligence tools, and other analytic tools that enable analysis, modeling, and/or data visualization.
7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis demonstrated through work or military experience
4+ years of experience working with derivatives and securities products in any of the following areas: technology, finance, regulatory reporting, risk, middle office or operations
4+ years of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools
4+ years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
Other Desired Qualifications
Expert understanding of the Collateral and Margin management
Proven Excel skills with the ability to analyze datasets and compare large set of data elements to ensure completeness
Highly motivated, self-starter, and can work with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with business partners across the organization
Previous experience and familiarity with securities and derivatives trading
Ability to multi-task and wear multiple hats- content analyst, data analyst, testing, process improvement, mentoring junior analysts
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
