Do you want to be a part of a global HR team and be responsible for Compensation and Benefits Strategy and Administration? We are looking for a highly analytical and organized compensation and benefits guru who wants the unique opportunity to bring our organization to the next level with a mix of strategic thinking and rolling up your sleeves and get things done attitude. This critical role reports directly into the Chief HR Officer. This position is based at our Corporate Service Center in Greenville, PA and includes remote and flexible working options. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Greenville, PA.
Where you will make an impact as part of our Team:
Ensure that programs that are aligned with business objectives and talent strategy while ensuring the achievement of consistent market-driven compensation levels to attract and retain talent.
Provide expertise and guidance to other members of the HR team and managers on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretations, and job evaluations.
Manage compensation survey process. Review and analyze data to determine emerging trends and actively assess the competitive landscape and regulatory/governmental fronts.
Drive process, including the planning and implementation of short/long term incentives based on relative market data as defined by company compensation philosophy.
Oversee retirement plan administration and provide guidance to the retirement plan committee.
Ensure proper evaluation of job descriptions. Conduct initial evaluations of new job titles and assign jobs to pay grades. Periodically reevaluate job descriptions for organizational leveling and FLSA classification. Ensure integrity of job evaluation process. Match internal positions to external market data using approved market pricing tool to determine salary ranges.
Partner with our broker team and act as subject matter expert for the self-funded health plan, including proactively analyzing data and reporting, and managing vendor partners to performance standards.
Assist with vendor selection, renewals and implementations.
Manage administrative and service vendors such as Benefit Administration/HRIS vendor, medical, dental, vision carriers, as w:ell as third party communication and rewards program, including contract renewals and compliance, issues management, communications frequency, schedule and approach.
Develop annual operating plan and budget for all Benefit Programs.
Ensure compliance with all government regulations including provisions of ERISA and ACA, etc through periodic review and revisions to all benefit plan design and management.
Assist with the hands on administration of employee benefit programs including health insurance, wellness, life insurance, retirement plan administration and compliance and disability programs.
Provide employee support by researching and resolving benefit related issues, recommending solutions and/or alternate methods to ensure effective benefit operations.
Support leadership teams by providing insight and solutions related to total rewards trends and issues, building strong relationships through a deep understanding of departmental needs and challenges. This role influences positive change at all levels of the organization.
Build upon traditional benefits with innovative perks/offerings to ensure we're staying competitive.
Working with TPA, analyze online reporting of plan activity for trends, especially high-dollar-claims for cost management opportunities, ROI for initiatives such as wellness, key trends such as claims $ PEPM. Design and report monthly summary data to support business needs.
Develop dashboard of key metrics to track improvement in PEPM claims cost for self-funded medical plan, as well as trends in key areas (specialty Rx) with potential future impact.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced analytics skills including: Excel (pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas), experience with Tableau, Business Intelligence or similar packages
7-10+ years of progressive related experience in broad-based compensation and benefits design / management. Global experience preferred.
Experience with retirement, pension and medical plans, Life/AD&D, Disability plans, Paid Time Off, and Work/Life benefits
Experience designing and implementing a Compensation Program
At least 5 years of benefits experience, including working with self-funded health plans for mid-size employers
In-depth knowledge of benefit policies, practices, common exclusions or exceptions, limitations and applicable laws
Excellent business acumen, strong strategic planning, financial, numerical and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate or that there is a better way
CEBS, CBP, CCP certification is a plus
Degree in statistics, math, finance, accounting or related field is a plus
