MemorialCare's IS trainers are responsible for developing the knowledge and skills of our workforce. They ensure that our workforce can meet its current and future business objectives and deliver quality services that meet our customers' needs. They develop and facilitate training strategies and plan initiatives working with clinical, patient access, financial system, or Analytics/Business Intelligence groups.
IS Trainers assists MemorialCare's training strategy and plan initiatives by working to increase end-user's efficient utilization of core systems such as the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) or the analytics portfolio to enhance their workflows and documentation across the enterprise. They may provide end user training on numerous applications supported by the IS training department. The IS Trainer also works closely with their assigned business team(s), delivering current and planning future training solutions.
IS Trainers have a wide range of duties in training instruction, training administration, and training documentation development. They help revise existing material to reflect the needs of the audience and application enhancements or system upgrades. They collaborate with more advanced Trainers to build training scenarios to support end user training and to develop system workflows to integrate system functionality with operational procedures.
