The primary job functions for this position will be to extract, transform, and analyze customer data to generate meaningful reports and submit recommendations to the company’s business leaders that drive decision-making.
Work across a wide variety of quantitative custom research methods (lifetime value, subscription models, net promoter score, user experience, market segmentation, etc.)
Learn the programming and logic used to create the key reports produced by the Analytics department and edit and improve the reports as needed..
Understand the data sources, the data definitions and the tools to get at the data so that creating the many files and reports required by this position are done in a timely and accurate manner.
Pull records for customer data requiring complicated logic and data source integration.
Use a variety of softwares, such as mapping software, Excel, PowerBI and programming languages to extract, manipulate and format data and files
Evaluate the key take-aways and convey the findings to management in a clear and concise way.

Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science or related field; Masters is preferred not required
2+ programming courses taken and/or equivalent experience (SAS experience preferred)
Experience working with a Membership/Subscription model preferred not required
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
Proficient in statistical and mathematical data analysis techniques such as regression analysis
Proficient in SQL (Structured Query Language) and/or knowledge of other programming languages
Experience in PowerBI and/or other visualization tools
Experience with Google Analytics and/or other web analytics platforms
Netsuite experience a plus
Familiarity with R, Python a plus
Familiarity with machine learning techniques
Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
Inherent curiosity and enthusiasm
Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience and confidence engaging with senior leadership.
